One-Pager Briefs (Templates)

These are concise, citation-ready summaries designed for hearings, stakeholder briefings, and community meetings. Populate with current figures from the relevant state or county.

  • Diversion Works: eligibility, completion rates, 6–12 month outcomes
  • Detention Reform: risk screening, alternatives, length of stay
  • Reentry & Aftercare: school continuity, MH/SUD follow-through
  • Education Exclusion: trends, disparities, re-engagement levers

Policy Timelines & Trackers

Pair these with state briefs to show what changed and when. As you create pages, link them here.

Quick Facts & Charts

Use these links as “drop-ins” for testimony, op-eds, or meetings. Each page provides context and methodology notes for responsible use.

How to Cite EDORA

Cite the page title, EDORA Cases (year), dataset vintage (e.g., 2015–2025), and the direct URL. For charts, include the data vintage and any pooling notes (2–3 year pooling for small-n).

Ethical Framing

  • Use person-first language; avoid stigmatizing labels.
  • Be clear about uncertainty: pooled small-n, breaks in series, proxy indicators.
  • Pair problems with feasible, evidence-based solutions.
