Other Youth Supports (Mentoring, Re-engagement, Workforce)
Arkansas and neighboring states operate supplemental supports that help youth re-engage in school, build work skills, and secure first jobs—often as part of diversion or aftercare.
What We Track
- Mentoring & credible-messenger models (dosage, retention)
- Re-engagement pathways (re-entry to school, GED/HiSET, credit recovery)
- Workforce pipelines (CTE, pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, first-job placement)
- Short-term outcomes (attendance, credentials, employment) and 6–12 mo. follow-up
Program Models (Stub)
- School re-engagement centers and alternative education bridges
- CTE + paid work experience (WBL), summer youth employment
- Pre-apprenticeship to Registered Apprenticeship ladders
Methods
We track initiation (enrolled), completion (finished), and improvement (attendance/credits) with small-n pooling over 2–3 years. Employment outcomes are measured at 30/90/180 days when available.
